mid-month design and giveaway ...

This will not be a normal occurance, but to kick off all the new changes taking place, we will be having a very unique middle of the month design and giveaway ... and a short 2 weeks later, having a new design and giveaway ... lucky you! So here's how it works : leave a comment in the "comments" section at the bottom of the post relating to the topic being discussed. One week later I will select, at random, one person who wins the jewelry item and announce them on the blog. They must contact me, via e-mail, with their name and address in order to have the package mailed to them. For all the rest of you commenters who weren't lucky enough to win ... this time ... you still get a perk! You can purchase that design at 10% off for the remainder of the month. Family and friends get the discount too ... it's not just people who left a comment, so pass the word along! Alright, alright, enough talk ... here is the featured design for the remaining 2 weeks of September, but first tell me what your favorite art and craft project is (whether it is a craft for yourself, or a craft to do with the kids) ...

bloom with a hammered flower and white freshwater pearl . $35

Hi Cristina! Glad to hear everything is going well. Must check out your shop for the new stuff, it's been a little while since I've been there.

Anyway, my fave arts and craft? I like to sew! Coming back from vacation it's been hard to get back into the groove but I'm slowly getting there.

I'm a grandma now and my favorite thing to do with the kiddoes when they are over (they live a mere 5 minutes away -- lucky me!) is to make paper snowflakes with them and then hang them all over the house. We live in warm Texas so we don't see much snow here and it's a fun little break.

Hello, Thanks for a chance to win your beautiful necklace! I am not real crafty, but I attempt to make handmade cards. My flower garden is probably my most artistic display! Please enter me in your delightful drawing. Many thanks, Cindi

Ugh I love your stuff!!!

My favorite crafty project is knitting! I taught myself to knit this summer and have become totally addicted. I love working with natural, sustainable, and organic fibers. I have been making a lot of baby things for my friends who are due soon and it's helping me a little bit because I going through infertility right now which can be rough. Knitting is great for relaxing and destressing!

I don't have any kids and aren't much of a craft person, but my art that I LOVE to do is shoot photography. I love to shoot kids, nature, sports, ANYTHING. I am constantly amazed by photography and the types of things my camera can turn up. My favorite photographer is Peter Lik. Check him out, he is AMAZING. I can't wait to one day have his art all over my house.

I have to say that my daughter's favorite right now is recycling egg cartons into "caterpillars." You cut out one row of the carton, stick two pieces of pipe cleaners in for the antennae, and the paint it/sticker it to your heart's content.
